Iowa Licensing Information:
- Every candidate for a real estate salesperson must complete a course in the principles of real estate of not less than 60 hours of classroom or correspondence or other distance learning instruction.
- Iowa pre-licensing education courses require a final exam to be taken at the end of the course of education.
- After you pass your course, your school will issue you a completion certificate and and send you information on registering for your licensing exam with PSI, the licensing test administrator.
- Please note: The state regulator in Iowa requires that all courses be completed within 6 months of the date of purchase. Courses completed after 6 months will not be eligible for a certificate of completion.
