Certificates
We mail completion certificates 48-72 business hours from the date of course completion.  If you need a certificate expedited, please let us know and we will be happy to overnight your documentation at no cost other than the cost of shipping. (Shipping costs will vary depending on your location.) Please contact our compliance department at compliance@kaplanREschools.com to request an expedite. **Please Note: Courses are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless state regulations indicate otherwise. Regulations differ from state to state and some state regulators may require course completion before 12 months.  Courses that are not completed within approved timeframe will not be eligible for a certificate of completion.

Seat Time Requirements
Due to the fact that state laws differ, some states require that you spend a required amount of "seat time" in a course, in order to recieve a certificate of completion. *Currently, the state of New York and Washington requires "seat time." (State laws are subject to change.  If you are unsure please contact your real estate commission for more information.)

Reporting Continuing Education Hours
Reporting processes differ from state-to-state. We report your credits directly to your state's agency where required after your course completion. If you have a need for this information to be reported quickly, please feel free to email our compliance department and we will work with you to meet your deadline. In states where we are not allowed to report your credits directly, we will do what we can to help you navigate the reporting process. 

Final Examinations
Some states do not require a final exam and in those states, the full completion of your course (sometimes with a minimum time spent in the course) is all you need to qualify for a Certificate of Completion. Some states require a final exam that you can take Online or via CD-ROM at the end of your course material. In a few states, a proctored final exam (taken in front of an unbiased third party) is required and you will be sent a print exam and instructions for completing your course exam within the guidelines of your state.
