Getting your real estate license includes the
following 3 simple steps.
- Pre-licensing Education
The Washington state regulator
(the Washington Real Estate Commission) requires 60 hours in Real Estate
Fundamentals before you can take your licensing exam. The hours must include
specific curriculum topics and are offered through our approved distance
education school. View

- Prelicensing Education Final Exam
Washington requires a
final exam following the Pre-licensing education which must be passed with a 75%
to become eligible for the state licensing examination. The final exam can be
taken on your computer immediately following your course.
- Licensing Examination
After passing your Pre-licensing course
final exam, you are eligible to take the state licensing examination. This
examination is administered by Promissor, a 3rd party testing administrator.
Kaplan Real Estate Schools works with the testing administrators to make sure
your registration process is simple and hassle-free. After you complete your
course, you will receive an official document that provides instructions for
registration and a section certifying that you completed your course
successfully with Kaplan Real Estate Schools. If you have additional questions
