Pennsylvania Real Estate Licensing
Getting your real estate license involves the following 3 simple steps.
- Pre-licensing Education
The Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission requires 60 hours of Real Estate Education before you take your licensing exam. The hours must include specific curriculum topics and are offered through our school in two 30-hour courses.View Pennsylvania approved licensing courses here.
- Prelicensing Education Final Exam
At the end of each course, Pennsylvania requires you to take a proctored final exam covering those 30 hours. This exam must be passed with a 75% or better to qualify for a successful completion. The final exam will be mailed to you in a sealed envelope and can only be opened in the presence of a proctor. The proctor can be any unbiased 3rd party (e.g. a librarian, school official) that can monitor the test session.
- Licensing Examination
After successfully completing your 60 hours of Pre-licensing education, you will receive your completion documents for your records. The state examination is administered by PSI, a 3rd party testing administrator. We work directly with PSI and upload your completion information to their candidate system so that you can register quickly for a test date.
