Texas Real Estate Licensing
Getting your real estate license involves the following 3 simple steps.
- Pre-licensing Education
The Texas Real Estate Commission requires 210 hours of Real Estate Education before you take your licensing exam. The hours must include specific curriculum topics and are offered through our school in seven 30-hour courses.View Texas approved licensing courses here.
- Prelicensing Education Final Exam
At the end of each course you will pass the final exam covering those 30 hours. This exam must be passed with a 70% or better to qualify for a successful completion.
- Licensing Examination
After successfully completing your 210 hours of Pre-licensing education, you will submit your completion documents to the state to receive information needed to register for the state exam. More information on this process can be found on the TREC website. The state examination is administered by PSI, a 3rd party testing administrator.
